BGMEA-BUFT Journalism Fellowship 2016-17

Applications are invited from journalists working in print and electronic media of Bangladesh for the BGMEA-BUFT Journalism Fellowship 2016-17 in the following criteria:

1. TV Channel
2. Bangla daily
3. English daily
4. Radio
5. Online
6. Magazine
7. Photo Journalism

Fellowship Duration: 2 months

Award: Each fellow will be awarded Tk. 1,00,000/- (one lac taka) as grant and a certificate.

Application Deadline: 12 October 2017

Eligibility:

Journalists who are working in the field of print and electronic media in Bangladesh for at least two years will be eligible to apply for the fellowship. (N.B. Those who were selected as Fellows of BGMEA-BUFT Journalism Fellowship-2014 and 2015 will not be eligible to apply this time.)

Requirements:

The following documents need to be submitted with application:

a. Two reports related to RMG sector, published or broadcast in the media between 10 October, 2016 and 10 October, 2017. (Applicants from print media will submit photocopy of their published reports/photos; and applicants from TV channels and radio will submit their broadcast reports in CD.)

b. Proposals of at least two reports on the RMG sector which they will accomplish within the time-frame of the fellowship program.

c. A recommendation letter from the Editor/ Executive Editor/ Managing Editor/ News Editor/Head of News/ Chief Reporter of the organization in which they work. The recommendation letter must mention working experience of the applicant.
