To All Honorable Members of BGMEA

We would like to inform you that Wega Stylewise (Pvt) Limited a member unit of BGMEA shipped readymade garments of US $ 222,872.00 to a buyer named Cherry Stix Ltd located in 1407 Broadway, suit 1503, New York, NY 10018. Unfortunately, the export proceeds have not been released from the respective bank since about six months. BGMEA tried to arbitrate to solve the matter but only for the non-cooperation of Cherry Stix Ltd the dispute could not be resolved. It means Cherry Stix Ltd did not make the payment of Wega Stylewise (Pvt) Limited willingly. After scrutiny of documents, BGMEA arbitration found that the Goods were checked out properly in all respect. That means it was ready for shipment, inspection was done by third party (Bureau Veritas) and it was passed. After that IC & shipping advice were also provided as per LC. Considering all these BGMEA arbitration committee found no lapses from Wega Stylewise (Pvt) Limited.  

Likewise, any other units of BGMEA may be also harmed by Cherry Stix Ltd. Since BGMEA is obliged to protect the interest of its members, so you are requested to be careful to receive any order from this buyer and their following agents:
