On Thursday, September 11, 2025, after Maghrib prayers, a Qur’an recitation, discussion session, and doa mahfil were held at the BGMEA Building in Chattogram to mark the observance of the holy Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) and Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW).

The event was presided over by Kazi Shafiqul Islam (Titu), Chairman of the Religious Affairs Committee.

Present were First Vice President Salim Rahman, Vice President Mohammad Rafique Chowdhury, Directors Mohammad Abdus Salam, Saif Ullah Monsur, and Enamul Aziz Chowdhury.

Also in attendance were former First Vice President Alhaj Khalilur Rahman, Adviser Md. Emdadul Haque Chowdhury, former Directors Khandakar Belayet Hossain, Mohammad Atik, A.M. Shafiul Karim (Khokon), Co-chairmen Wadud Md. Chowdhury, Mohammad Isha, and a large number of entrepreneurs and BGMEA officials and employees.

First Vice President Salim Rahman remarked, “Allah sent the Holy Prophet (SAW) as a guide for the liberation of all humanity. Following the Qur’an and Sunnah is the path to success in both this world and the Hereafter.”

The event concluded with a recitation of the Qur’an by Chairman Kazi Md. Shafiqul Islam (Titu) and a special prayer seeking forgiveness for the souls of deceased owners and workers, and healing for those who are ill.
