A delegation from the BGMEA recently visited the HIKARI Sewing Machine Factory in China to gain first-hand insights into its advanced automated assembly lines, smart sewing technologies, and modern manufacturing processes.
The BGMEA delegation was led by Director Mohammed Sohel, along with Director Md. Shaif Ullah. The delegation also included Mozammel Haque Bhuiyan, Chairman of BGMEA's One-Stop Service Cell; Kamal Uddin, Managing Director, Naks Fashion Wear Ltd; Md. Jewel Hossain, Managing Director, Jewel Design Ltd; Kazi Shawkat Hossain, Director, Amichi Apparels Ltd; Md. Saiful Islam, Secretary (Acting), BGMEA; and Md. Shahriar Rahman, Private Secretary to the BGMEA President.

During an exclusive bilateral meeting, HIKARI’s leadership provided a comprehensive technical presentation highlighting their latest smart sewing solutions, advanced automation capabilities, and key competitive advantages in the global apparel machinery market.
The discussions focused on developing strategic opportunities to provide exclusive and impactful benefits to BGMEA member factories in Bangladesh. Key areas of discussion included special pricing for SMEs, extended warranty support, specialized machinery solutions, and technical assistance to help revive closed industrial facilities.
