BGMEA Leaders held a meeting with Cathy Feingold, Director of the AFLCIO, the umbrella federation for US unions with 56 unions representing 12.5 million working men and women.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir and Vice Presidents Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu)   and Ferdous Perves Bivon were present at the meeting  where different issues related to Bangladesh RMG industry were discussed. The BGMEA Leaders also briefed her about the significant improvement in workplace safety.
The BGMEA Leaders are currently visiting the US in the entourage of Honorable Prime Minister for the 71st session of the UN General Assembly. Sideline of the UN assembly, they are holding several meetings with the important RMG stakeholders in the US.
