A delegation of newly elected Office Bearers of BGMEA led by its Acting President Moinuddin Ahmed paid a courtesy call on State Minister for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury at the latter’s officer on October 4.

The BGMEA Delegation had a discussion with the State Minister about the issue of setting up an industrial park in Chittagong for RMG factories. They thanked the government for its several initiatives, especially Garment Industrial Park near Dhaka, to ensure safe working conditions in the apparel sector.

The BGMEA leaders called on the State Minister to take steps for allocation of land to set up garment industrial park in Chittagong.

State Minister for Land Saifuzzaman Chowdhury said that the government will take all possible steps necessary for development of the RMG sector. 

BGMEA Vice President Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu) and Director A.N.M. Saifuddin were also present on the occasion.
