The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) organized a press conference at a hotel in Dhaka on March 15 to share the experience and outcomes of just-concluded visit by a delegation of BGMEA to the Europe and the USA.

BGMEA President Faruque Hassan led the delegation who held a number of meeting with key stakeholders including Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Director General of the International Labour Organization (ILO), key personnel at European Union (EU), the President of the American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) and the President and CEO of the Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP).

BGMEA Vice Presidents, Directors and chairs of different standing committees and members were also present at the press conference.
