The newly-elected office bearers of BGMEA-President Md. Atiqul Islam, First Vice-President Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, Second Vice-President S.M. Mannan (Kochi), Vice-President Md. Shahidullah Azim  and Vice-President (Finance) Reaz-Bin-Mahmood -took the charges of BGMEA office.

Earlier, the 30th AGM of BGMEA was held at the Noorul Quader Auditorium, BGMEA Complex, Dhaka. Outgoing BGMEA president Md Shafiul Islam presided over the first session of the AGM while newly-elected president Md. Atiqul Islam presided over the concluding session of the AGM. The AGM approved the budget of the association for the year 2013.
