New books on the very first of the new year cheered the students of BGMEA school in Chittagong.
Director of BGMEA K. Mahabub Uddin (Jewel) and Md. Shaif Ullah handed over the free textbooks among the students from grades 1-5 on the school premises on January 1. 
BGMEA runs five schools in Dhaka, Gazipur and Chittagong for workers’ children and provides free books, study materials and stipends to the meritorious students.
