Bando Design Ltd wins the trophy of BGMEA Cup Football 2016 defeating Comfit Composite Knit Ltd by 4-1 in the final match at the Army Stadium on 1 April.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, MP, attended the grand finale as chief guest.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman presented the champion and runner-up trophies and crests to the players of the two teams. BGMEA Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan ,  Vice  President  S.M Mannan (Kochi), Vice President ( Finance)  Mohammed  Nasir, Vice President  Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu) , Vice President  Ferdous Perves Bivon, former  President of BGMEA and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for Home Affairs Tipu Monshi, MP, former President of BGMEA and First Vice President of FBCCI Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), BGMEA Directors and members  were also present on the occasion.

BGMEA Vice President (Finance) and also the Chairman of the Committee for BGMEA Cup Football 2016 Mohammed Nasir and Bonna from Gazi TV conducted the whole program as the masters of ceremony.
Shakil of Bando netted two goals and was named the ‘Man of the Final’ while Managing Director and captain of Bando Design Imran also scored one goal in the final match to become the ‘Top Scorer’ in the tournament with 12 goals.
Gazi TV was the media partner and International Turkish Hope School the venue partner of the football tournament while the sponsor partners were Islami Bank, EXIM Bank, Manyavar, Sterlink Group, Rising Group, Sailor, Amaze Power, AKH Group, Sonali Life Insurance, BUFT, TAD Logistics, Oriental Real Estate, Porcelanosa Associate, BBS Cables and CBL Munchee.
