On 27 October 2025, a delegation led by Major General Asadul Haque, NDC, PSC, GOC of the 9th Infantry Division and Savar Area Commander of the Bangladesh Army, visited BGMEA yesterday.

During the visit, the delegation held a courtesy meeting with BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan, Vice President Md. Rezwan Selim, Vice President Md. Shehab Udduza Chowdhury, and other members of the Executive Committee.

At the meeting, the BGMEA President briefed the delegation on the overall situation of the garment industry, its potential, and various initiatives undertaken by the organization for sustainable development and growth.

He praised the important role of the Bangladesh Army in maintaining a peaceful and orderly labor environment in the country’s garment industry and expressed sincere gratitude for their support.

The President expressed hope that the Bangladesh Army will continue to assist in maintaining discipline, stability, and an industry-friendly environment in the garment sector in the future.
