A special Munajat (prayer) was held on the premises of BGMEA Complex on April 23, 2015 for the departed souls of the Rana Plaza tragedy.

BGMEA leaders, garment entrepreneurs, labour leaders, civil society members and people from all walks of life took part in the prayer.

BGMEA hands over cheque to Prosthetic and Orthotics School

A seminar on “Rehabilitation of the Rana Plaza Survivors: From Despair to Hope” was held at CRP in Mirpur on April 23, 2015.

At the seminar BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Reaz Bin Mahmood, on behalf of his organization, handed over a cheque of Taka 10 lakh to Dr. Valerie Taylor, Founder and Coordinator, Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed(CRP) for further development of the Prosthetic and Orthotics School.

Dr. Thomas Prinz, Ambassador of Federal Republic of Germany to Bangladesh, and Christine Cipolla, Head of Delegation, ICRC were present on the occasion.
