A 14-member delegation of International Trade Committee of the European Parliament led by Chair of the Committee Bernd LANGE is visiting Bangladesh.
BGMEA organized a luncheon meeting in honor of the delegation in a city hotel on 15 November.
They discussed different issues related to the RMG industry and apparel exports to the EU. The BGMEA leaders appraised the delegation of the progress made by Bangladesh in safety and remediation in the RMG industry. The delegation expressed their satisfaction on the achievements.

BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman, former BGMEA Presidents Md. Shafiul Islam and Md. Atiqul Islam, BGMEA Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President SM Mannan (Kochi), Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir, Vice President Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu) and BGMEA Directors were present at the meeting.
