A joint delegation of Disability Rights Promotion International (DRPI) and Bangladesh ProtibandhiKallyanSomity (BPKS) met BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman at his office.
BGMEA Vice President Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu), Directors Md. Mahidul Islam Khan and A. N. M. Saifuddin were also present in the meeting.
The DRPI delegation included its Canadian Director of the DRPI Dr. Marcia H. Rioux, International Coordinator Paula Hearn, Job Placement Accommodation Adviser Sean Wiltshire, Bangladeshi Country Coordinator Mr. Md. Ishaque Mia and Work Placement Coordinator S M Mayeen Ahmed also present there.
In the meeting they discussed the issues of job placement of persons with disability in the RMG industry.
