A key panel known as Sammilito Parishad, led by Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), swept itself to Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) in the biennial polls yesterday. It won all the 27 posts of director.

The directors of the winning panel will select the president and four vice-presidents tomorrow for the BGMEA for 2011 and 2012, said Chief Election Commissioner Shafiullah Chowdhury. Of the vice-presidents, one will be picked from Chittagong and others from Dhaka.
