New Office Bearers of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) have officially taken the charge of the trade organization for the term 2015-16 at its 32nd Annual General Meeting held on September 22.
Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Managing Director of Sterling Denims Ltd., has become the new President of BGMEA.

Moinuddin Ahmed, Managing Director of M.N. Knitwears Ltd. and Faruque Hassan, Managing Director of Giant Apparels Ltd., have been elected as the First Vice President and the Senior Vice President, respectively.

SM Mannan (Kochi), Managing Director of Seha Design (BD) Ltd. and Mohammed Nasir, Managing Director of Evergreen Sweaters Ltd., have been elected as the Vice President and the Vice President (Finance) respectively.

Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu), Managing Director of Rising Apparels Ltd.; Ferdous Perves Bivon, Managing Director of Bando Fashions Ltd.; and Md. Ferdous, Managing Director of Farmin Fashion Design Ltd., have also been elected as the Vice Presidents.
