Newly appointed Commercial Counsellors and First Secretaries (Commercial) of Bangladesh embassies in London, Seoul, Paris, Canberra, Ottawa and Kuala Lumpur visited BGMEA and met its leaders, including BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir on 31 October.
Commercial Counsellors SM Jakaria Huq, Mohammad Masud Rana Chowdhury, Dilara Begum, Md. Saifullah, Md. Shakil Mahmud and Md. Rajibul Ahsan who have been appointed in the embassies of in London, Seoul, Paris, Canberra, Ottawa and Kuala Lumpur respectively, made the visit to learn about the present situation of the RMG industry and its problems and prospects.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman sought cooperation and support of the Commercial Counsellors and First Secretaries in promoting trade, including RMG exports, in foreign countries.
BGMEA Director Md. Munir Hossain was present at the meeting.
