An “On-Campus Recruitment Program 2026” was held at the Uttara campus of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT) in the capital’s Uttara area. Snowtex Group, an export-oriented company in Bangladesh’s ready-made garment sector, participated in the recruitment drive.
The program was supported by the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and implemented under the CCP-BGMEA Program of the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), funded by the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Bangladesh and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
BGMEA Director Majumdar Arifur Rahman attended the event as the chief guest, while BGMEA Director Rumana Rashid delivered the keynote speech. Fahim Mubashwir, a representative from the HR Department of Snowtex Group, also participated.
The session was chaired by Munir Chowdhury, Chief Coordinator of the SICIP-BGMEA Program. From the university, Professor Shishir Kumar Bhattacharya, Dean of the Faculty of Design and Technology, was present.
For 65 vacant positions of “Management Trainee,” Snowtex Group conducted preliminary screening, written tests, and viva interviews with 120 students. Students from various departments of different institutes and universities took part in the process.
