A roundtable discussion on the challenges of ensuring reproductive health of RMG workers was held in Dhaka on 17 January.

The Daily Prothom Alo in association with SNV Netherlands organized the discussion where different stakeholders took part to share their expert views on how to ensure reproductive health services for garment workers in Bangladesh.

Speaking at the program BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman said that BGMEA is working with the government and international organizations to raise awareness on sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR).

Shirin Akhter, MP; and Labour and Employment Secretary Mikail Shipar, among others, also attended the discussion.
