Ambassador of Switzerland to Bangladesh H.E. Nathalie Chuard paid a courtesy call on BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq at latter's office in Dhaka on 16 March.

They discussed different trade related issues, especially how Switzerland can extend their support and cooperation for sectoral diversification in Bangladesh.

The Ambassador expressed the interest of Switzerland in supporting Bangladesh apparel industry in the areas of environmental sustainability, social protection of garment workers and industry innovation.
