Natway Outdoor (Bangladesh) Limited, a Taiwanese company, will invest $30.34 million to set up a unit of Camping and Sports Garment industry in Comilla Export Processing Zone (EPZ).

The company will set up its unit with target of producing 2.1 million pieces of sleeping bags, tents, rucksacks and outdoor sports garments items annually, said a press release.

An agreement in this regard was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones (BEPZA) authority and M/s. Natway Outdoor (Bangladesh) Limited at BEPZA Complex in Dhaka Monday.

Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Lin Hui, Chairman of M/s. Natway Outdoor (Bangladesh) Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

AKM Mahbubur Rahman, Member (Finance), Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations), Md Khorshid Alam, General Manager (Investment Promotion) and officials attended the signing ceremony.
