The e-services launched by the Directorate of Textile will play a significant role in reducing lead time for the RMG and textile industries, said BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir.
He made the remark while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the project titled “Online one click registration & other service delivery by Directorate of Textiles by developing an e-centre network using ICT” on December 27.
Honorable Minister for Textiles and Jute Md. Emaz Uddin Pramanik attended the program as the Chief Guest while Director General (Admin) of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Project Director of a2i Programme Kabir Bin Anwar was present as the Special Guest.
BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir thanked the government for initiating the e-services and said that it will make the procedures of registration and capital machinery import easier and quicker for the garment and textile industries.
