Textile Times held a strategic meeting today (7 December) with the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), attended by BGMEA Directors, Vice Presidents and other senior professionals of the organisation.

The core discussion of the meeting was held with Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, Director of BGMEA, where both parties explored potential areas of partnership and industry-focused media engagement. Later, other distinguished BGMEA officials joined the discussion, including: Mijanur Rahman, Vice President (Finance), BGMEA, Masud Kabir, Chairman, Standing Committee on Press, Publication and Publicity, BGMEA, M. Sajedul Karim, Chairman, Standing Committee on Trade Fair and Events, BGMEA.

Representing Textile Times, the Co-Founder & Business Head Md. Rafi Sarower, and Head of Admin & HR Farhana Zaman Tithi attended the meeting.

During the discussion, Textile Times and BGMEA agreed to establish a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening industry communication and enhancing media engagement. As part of the collaboration, both organisations will support each other through structured media coverage, knowledge sharing, and other strategic initiatives contributing to the growth of Bangladesh’s textile and apparel sector.

This partnership is expected to open new avenues of cooperation and deliver meaningful value to stakeholders across the industry.
