Subject: Request to Participate in “Bangladesh-India Fair for Garment Export”.

Honourable Members,

We are pleased to inform you that due to unavoidable circumstances, we have rescheduled the date of single country trade fair “Bangladesh-India Fair for Garment Export” to 22-23 May, 2014 instead of April 8-9, 2014 at BGMEA Complex, Dhaka. The fair will be jointly organized by BGMEA and Indian High Commission, Dhaka. It is expected that, a good number of apparel buyers, buying house representatives, trade body representatives and other related traders from India will visit this fair.

Mr. Tofail Ahmed, Hon'ble Minister, Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh will attend as the Chief Guest in the Inaugural Ceremony and H.E. High Commissioner of India Mr. Pankaj Saran will remain present as the special guest.

This Expo is a platform where related business players can avail the opportunity to display their Products, services to attract the Indian Buyers and their representatives for further business development.

To attract Indian Apparel Importers, BGMEA and Indian High Commission, Dhaka has planned to make extensive publicity. We are contacting with the apparel importers of India to visit this fair. Besides Bangladesh Mission India is also inviting apparel importers, traders, buyers to visit the Fair.

The stalls of the Expo will be available for members of BGMEA, manufacturers of Knit, Sweater, and Woven garment items, manufacturers of Woven and Knit Fabrics, manufacturers of garment accessories.

You are cordially invited to participate in the single country Expo to display your products before the Apparel Buyers, traders and their representatives from India. The stalls will be distributed on “First come first serve basis”.

Interested BGMEA members are requested to kindly fill up the attached Stall Allocation Form and submit the same to BGMEA along with full amount of stall rent in the form of DD/Pay Order in favour of BGMEA by 20 April, 2014.
