BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman stressed the need for incorporating the latest and most innovative technology and materials to stay ahead in market competition.
He made the remark while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the 15th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on 23 January.
Honorable Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, MP inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest.
FBCCI President Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), former BGMEA President Md. Atiqul Islam, First Vice President of BKMEA Mansoor Ahmed, Group President and Managing Director of CEMS Global- USA and Asia Pacific Meherun N. Islam, and Secretary General of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhang Tao were present as special guests.
Companies from different countries are participating in this exhibition to showcase the latest yarn, fabrics and emerging technologies for the textile and garment industry.
