UNDP and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in collaboration with BGMEA organized a workshop titled “Sustainability Reporting” on 19 January to initiate the alignment of Bangladeshi garment factories with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and national priority indicators (39+1) of Bangladesh government.
The session was conducted by Pallavi Atre, sustainability expert at GRI South Asia and was facilitated by Linda Germanis, private sector specialist from UNDP.
The workshop began with the welcome remarks by BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq while Wasim Zakariah, chairperson of BGMEA Standing Committee on SDG Affairs also spoke at the session.
