BGMEA accorded a warm reception to its members who have been elected Members of Parliament in the 11th national election, including new Ministers.
Honorable Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, MP, LGRD Minister Md. Tajul Islam, MP, Private Industry and Investment Adviser to the PM Salman Fazlur Rahman, MP, State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Majumder, MP, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, MP,  State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam, MP, Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud, MP, Abdus Salam Murshedi, MP, Salim Osman, MP, Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan, MP, Jahirul Haque Bhuiyan Mohon, MP, Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury, MP, Enamul Haque, MP, Tahjib Alam Siddique, MP, and Abdul Momin Mondol, MP, from the apparel sector are in the present Parliament.
Among them, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, MP, LGRD Minister Md. Tajul Islam, MP, Private Industry and Investment Adviser to the PM Salman Fazlur Rahman, Abdus Salam Murshedi, MP, Jahirul Haque Bhuiyan Mohon, MP, Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury, MP, and Abdul Momin Mondol, MP, from the apparel sector were present in the Reception program organized by BGMEA.
It’s a great honour and pride to accord reception to the Ministers and MPs who are also family members of the apparel industry, BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman said while addressing reception ceremony held at BGMEA complex on 16 February. He expressed his hope that the Ministers and MPs would continue to make their contribution to the welfare of the country and the RMG sector.
FBCCI President Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), former BGMEA Predidents Anisur Rahman Sinha and Md. Atiqul Islam, BGMEA First Vice President Moinuddin Ahmed, Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President SM Mannan (Kochi), Vice  President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir and Directors of BGMEA were also present at the program.
