BGMEA accorded a warm reception to Mabia Akter Shimanta and Mahfuza Khatun Shila for winning the gold medals for Bangladesh in the 12th South Asian Games, and gave them crests and Tk. 1 lakh each.
Honorable Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, MP, attended the program as chief guest and handed over the crests to the ‘Golden Girls’ while BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman gave them the cheques on the occasion.
Former President of BGMEA Mostafa Golam Quddus, First Vice President of BGMEA Moinuddin Ahmed, Senior Vice President Faruque Hassan, Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir, Vice President Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu) and BGMEA Directors were also present at the program.
