Under the leadership of BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan, members of the BGMEA Board of Directors paid profound respect to former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson, national leader Begum Khaleda Zia. Yesterday (31st December) at the BNP Chairperson’s office in Gulshan, BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan signed the condolence book, paying tribute to her memory.

On the occasion, BGMEA Senior Vice President Inamul Haq Khan (Bablu), Director Faisal Samad, and Director Dr. Rashid Ahamed Hossaini also signed the condolence book.

Expressing deep sorrow, BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan said that all members of BGMEA are deeply mournful at the passing of former Prime Minister, the mother of democracy, and BNP Chairperson, national leader Begum Khaleda Zia. He noted that her role in the development of the apparel industry and the country’s economic progress will be remembered by the nation forever.

The death of Begum Khaleda Zia is an irreparable loss for the nation. Her contributions to national development, the establishment of democracy, the protection of people’s rights, and public welfare were immense. Through her work, she will continue to live on in the hearts of every Bangladeshi.
