The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) is deeply saddened by the tragic death of Sharif Osman Hadi, a leading figure of the July Mass Uprising in Bangladesh and the Convener of Inqilab Moncho. On behalf of the Bangladesh apparel industry family, BGMEA expresses profound sorrow and condolences at his untimely demise.

His passing at the young age of only 32, after being shot by miscreants, is an irreparable loss for the nation. His courageous role in the country’s democratic movement and his steadfast stand for justice will remain a lasting source of inspiration for the younger generation.

BGMEA prays for the eternal peace and forgiveness of the departed soul and extends its deepest sympathy to the bereaved family members. May Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul Ferdous and the status of a martyr, and bestow upon his family and loved ones the strength to endure this grief—Ameen.
