On 19 November 2025, an important meeting was held between a BGMEA delegation and the Deputy Governor, Executive Director, and relevant officials of Bangladesh Bank. The meeting included detailed discussions on green financing opportunities for SME entrepreneurs, banking-related challenges, and the necessary actions to address them.

The delegation was led by BGMEA Vice President Md. Shehab Udduza Chowdhury, and also included BGMEA Director Mohammed Sohel; One-Stop Standing Committee Chairman Mozammel Haque Bhuiyan; Press, Publications and Public Relations Standing Committee Chairman Masud Kabir; SME Standing Committee Chairman Rubayet Ahmed; and SME Standing Committee Member Poritosh Pal.

The meeting gave special focus to Bangladesh Bank’s latest SME circular, rescheduling circular, and policies related to special funds.
