BGMEA expresses deep sorrow over the fire incident at Shah Ali Washing Ltd. and the chemical warehouse in Mirpur, which resulted in casualties. BGMEA also prays for the departed souls and wishes a speedy recovery for the injured.

For the information of all concerned, it is clarified that the factory in Shialbari, Mirpur, where the fire occurred, is not a BGMEA member garment factory. It is a washing facility.
