On 10 November 2025, following an application for permanent membership with BGMEA, an inspection team led by BGMEA Director Kazi Mizanur Rahman conducted on-site visits to Z Composite Limited and BMTF Apparels Limited, operated by the Bangladesh Army.

During the inspection, the team closely monitored whether the factories were complying with safety standards and maintaining proper working conditions. Before granting permanent membership, BGMEA verifies the accuracy of safety standards in each applicant factory to ensure a safe and sustainable environment in the industry.
