Today on 07 January 2026, BGMEA leaders held a courtesy meeting with a delegation from RSJT at the BGMEA Dhaka office. During the meeting, they discussed the operations and services of the Patenga Terminal managed by RSJT.

From the BGMEA side, those present at the meeting included Senior Vice President Inamul Haq Khan, Vice President Rezwan Selim, Vice President (Finance) Mijanur Rahman, Vice President Shehab Udduza Chowdhury, and Director Kazi Mizanur Rahman.

The meeting also covered discussions on the overall situation of the country’s garment industry. Considering the current condition of the apparel sector, Senior Vice President Inamul Haq Khan and Director Kazi Mizanur Rahman requested the re-fixation of labour charges at the RSJT-operated Patenga Terminal.
