Honorable President of Bangladesh Md. Abdul Hamid congratulated new BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq and the Board of Directors.
He made the felicitation when BGMEA Board of Directors led by Dr. Rubana Huq paid a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban yesterday.
Lauding the contributions of RMG sector, President Abdul Hamid said Bangladeshi products have already earned reputation worldwide which are being displayed and sold in the global markets.
“Workers got their salary and festival bonus properly ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr . . . I hope all garment workers will get their salary and festival bonus before the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha also,” BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq told the President.
BGMEA First Vice President Mohammed Abdus Salam, Vice President (Finance) M A Rahim Feroz, Vice President Md. Moshiul Azam (Shajal), Vice President A. M. Chowdhury Selim and Directors were present during the meet.
