National Board of Revenue (NBR) organized a meeting to apprise stakeholders of a project being implemented by the government for automation of customs bond management to bring full transparency in the system and reduce time and cost of doing business.
NBR Chairman Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, ndc presided over the meeting held in Dhaka on 3 October.
BGMEA President Md. SIddiqur Rahman spoke at the meeting and brought different customs bond management related issues to the attention of NBR for addressing them.
BGMEA Director Md. Munir Hossain was also present at the meeting.
