BGMEA Vice President (Finance) attends inauguration ceremony of Feasibility Survey for Japanese Health Screening

BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir attended the inauguration ceremony of “Feasibility Survey for Ningen Dock (Japanese Health Screening) as a SDGs Business Model”.
Speaking as the special guest, he said that BGMEA at its own cost has been operating 12 health centers at different parts of Dhaka and Chittagong with a view to providing basic healthcare facilities to garment workers and their families. BGMEA also runs a hospital in Chittagong for the apparel workers, he added.
The program was jointly organized by Non Communicable Disease Control (NCDC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and Medicare Japan in Gazipur on 22 October. 
Dr. Raihan-e-Zannat, Program Manager, NCDC, DGHS, attended the occasion as the chief guest while Keisuke Sawada, Program Advisor, JICA Bangladesh office was also present.
