A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between BGMEA and Directorate of Technical Education to produce skilled operators for the RMG industry.
BGMEA Vice President (Finance) Mohammed Nasir and Project Director of Skill and Training Enhancement Project A B M Azad signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations in presence of BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman.
BGMEA Director Md. Munir Hossain, Deputy Project Director Engr. Md. Nuruzzaman and Program Officer Dr. Md. Anwarul Hoque were also present at the ceremony.
Under the MoU, BGMEA in collaboration with Directorate of Technical Education will implement the Skill and Training Enhancement Project (STEP) where young people will be given training in garment sewing and knitting.
