BGMEA and Swisscontact held a productive discussion on 10th September, 2026 at BGMEA on the objectives and upcoming areas of collaboration under the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering the PROGRESS, InSPIRE, and BYETS projects.

The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration in key areas including social and environmental compliance, workforce skills development—particularly for women workers, renewable energy and resource efficiency, workplace safety, and enhanced sustainability practices across Bangladesh’s RMG sector.

Both organizations also discussed opportunities for joint events, awareness-building initiatives, communication activities, and factory-level engagement, while ensuring alignment with BGMEA’s priorities and the evolving needs of the industry.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing a more sustainable, skilled, safe, and competitive RMG sector in Bangladesh through strengthened collaboration and knowledge exchange.
