Main purpose is to ensure smooth transition through collaboration and head for self-monitoring. As part of the agreement signed with Accord on 8th May 2019, BGMEA appointed engineers will formally start their work at the Accord office from today.

This milestone will pave the path to a better cooperation and timely completion of factory audits followed by capacity building of the RMG Sustainability Council (RSC). BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq along with her Board members worked relentlessly to reach this understanding.

The effort has been highly appreciated by the Accord steering commitee, buyers, foreign embassies and other stakeholders who believe in a safe and sustainable RMG industry for Bangladesh.
