BGMEA organized a press conference on the 'Present Situation of the RMG Industry Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr' on July 16.
BGMEA President Md. Atiqul Islam spoke at a press briefingon the RMG sector while Second Vice President SM Mannan (Kochi), Vice President Md. Shahidullah Azim and Vice President (Finance) Reaz Bin Mahmood were present.
The BGMEA President thanked all, including the RMG entrepreneurs, for timely making payments to workers. About 99% of the BGMEA member factories paid the workers their salaries and Eid bonus well ahead of the festival, he informed the press.
