Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with two information technology based private organisations at its office in the capital Sunday.
A MoU related to issuing Certificate of Origin (CoO) was signed between the BGMEA and Information Solution Limited (ISL), an IT based private firm.
Later, another MoU on installing a database which will comprise the biometric identity along with other information of the workers of garment sector was signed between the authority of BGMEA and Systech Tiger IT.
President of BGMEA signed both the MoUs on behalf of BGMEA while Managing Director of ISL Sayed Shapir Khasru and Managing Director of Systech Digital Limited M Rashidul Hasan signed at the MoUs on behalf of their respective organisations.
