BGMEA signed a collaboration agreement with Sudokkho, a UK and Swiss government funded program. BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq and Team Leader of Sudokkho Erling Petersen inked the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Under the agreement BGMEA will get technical assistance from Sudokkhofor providing training consultancy service to the RMG industry. The technical assistance will further encompass transferring Sudokkho’s knowhow into the academic curriculum of BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT). The RMG and Textile Industry Skills council (RTISC) and BGMEA affiliated training centers will also get technical assistance under the agreement.

BGMEA Directors Miran Ali, Mohammad Abdul Momen, Shehab Udduza Chowdhury and Asif Ibrahim were present during the signing ceremony.
