Bangladesh is an inspiring example of achieving unity in diversity: BGMEA President

Bangladesh is an inspiring example of achieving unity in diversity, said Faruque Hassan, President of BGMEA.

“Bangladesh is home to diverse faiths, with people of different religions and beliefs living alongside each other in peace. The spirit of communal harmony exists here for hundreds of years,” he said following a visit to St. Mathuranath AG Church in Gopalganj on October 23.

The BGMEA President handed over a cheque of Tk. 3 lac to the church as donation.

Mathuranath Institute Mission School in Gopalganj is reminiscent of childhood memories of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman who was admitted to the seventh grade at the school.

BGMEA Senior Vice President SM Mannan (Kochi), Vice President Shahidullah Azim, Vice President (Finance) Khandoker Rafiqul Islam, Vice President Md. Nasir Uddin and Giant Group Director Sharmeen Hassan Tithi were also present on the occasion.
