Business leaders demanded a safe and healthy Dhaka for its dwellers and pledged support to Dhaka South City Corporation mayoral candidate Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh.

They made the call at a program titled 'Dhaka: expectations of the business community”, organized by the apparel sector business associations BGMEA, BKMEA and BTMA on 23 January.

While speaking at the program, BGMEA President Dr. Rubana Huq recommended making Dhaka city safe, free from pollution and ensuring required civic facilities.
