A capacity building workshop on joint crediting mechanism (JCM) for private sectors was held at the Apparel Club, BGMEA complex on 9 March.
Honorable Deputy Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Habibun Nahar, MP attended the program as chief guest.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman chaired the workshop which was jointly organized by the Department of Environment, BGMEA and Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), Japan.
Co-chair of JCM Joint Committee Dr. Nururl Quader and Director General of the Environment Department Dr. Sultan Ahmed were also present at the event.
