As Bangladesh’s apparel industry enters a new era of innovation, sustainability, technology, and global opportunity, preparations are underway to bring the industry’s renewed strength and ambition to the world stage.
The Steering Committee of Bangladesh Apparel and Textile Exhibition (BATEXPO) 2026 met to discuss key preparations for the much-anticipated mega event of the country’s apparel industry, scheduled for November 2026 in Dhaka.
The meeting was chaired by BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan and attended by Steering Committee members Mijanur Rahman, Vice President (Finance), BGMEA; Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, Director, BGMEA (Chief of Coordination); Nafis-Ud-Doula, Director, BGMEA (Member); Ms. Sumaiya Islam, Director, BGMEA (Member); Khan Monirul Alam (Shuvo), Chairman, Standing Committee on Branding (Member); Sajedul Karim, Chairman, Standing Committee on Trade Fair & Events (Member); and Masud Kabir, Chairman, Standing Committee on Press, Publication and Publicity (Member).
More than an exhibition, BATEXPO 2026 is the revival of Bangladesh’s flagship apparel exposition—reimagined for a transformed industry.
