H.E. Asfaw Dingamo Kame, Ambassador of Ethiopia to India, paid a courtesy call on Moinuddin Ahmed, Acting President of BGMEA on 29 November.
They exchanged views on the apparel industry of Bangladesh and Ethiopia.
The Acting President of BGMEA apprised the Ethiopian Ambassador about the RMG industry of Bangladesh, including the sector’s socio-economic contribution to the country and possibilities of mutual cooperation between both countries.
BGMEA Directors Md. Ashikur Rahman (Tuhin), Miran Ali, Md. Atiqul Karim Khan and Anwar Kamal Pasha were also present on the occasion.
