Jayant Dasgupta, former Permanent Representative of India to the WTO met with BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman at the latter’s office in  Dhaka on 3 July.
They had a discussion on different bilateral trade issues including possible avenues of mutual cooperation between Bangladesh and India for promoting commerce.
They also discussed how both countries can complement each other for the development of apparel and textile industries.
