ILO Country Director Tuomo Poutiainen paid a visit to BGMEA and held a meeting with BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman on 5 February.
During the meeting they discussed the progress of the ongoing programs run jointly by BGMEA and ILO to improve working conditions and health and occupational safety of RMG workers in Bangladesh.
BGMEA Vice President SM Mannan (Kochi), Director ANM Saifuddin and ILO Program Officer Khadija Khondker were present on the occasion.
